Huawei Mate XT 2 bets on brighter privacy screen with dual-pixel tech and inward folding
Huawei’s Mate XT 2 is rumored to implement independent RGB pixel drivers and a dual-pixel design to maintain brightness and contrast in both privacy and normal modes on an inward-folding tri-fold, with a secondary cover display. It reportedly reduces side viewing visibility based on distance and is paired with a next-gen hinge, 16GB RAM, and storage options of 512GB/1TB/2TB in black, white, or purple, with a price bump for the Ultimate Design and a launch tomorrow. Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra previously introduced a privacy screen with some eye-strain concerns, which Huawei aims to address with this approach.
