Police in Hokkaido, Japan are searching for a missing angler who is suspected to have been attacked by a bear after a human head was found in the area. The angler was dropped off to fish unaccompanied at Lake Shumarinai on Sunday, and an employee of the boat operator later saw a bear nearby with waders dangling from its mouth. A bear hunt operation was launched and a human head was discovered during the operation. The police are investigating whether it belongs to the missing angler.
