Jordan's 1998 Finals Jersey Sets New Basketball Record at $14 Million
A game-worn, autographed Michael Jordan jersey from the 1998 NBA Finals sold privately for $14 million, setting a new record for basketball memorabilia. The item, worn during Game 2 against the Utah Jazz, was purchased by Miami investor Ron Firman through Hunt Auctions. This sale surpasses the previous basketball record of $12.9 million and ranks as the second-highest price ever paid for any game-worn jersey in sports history, behind Babe Ruth’s 1932 World Series jersey.
