Spanish Researchers Unveil Ultra-Fast Hydrogen Purification Membrane
A team from ICMM-CSIC developed a mixed-matrix membrane based on polysulfone with a truxene filler that boosts hydrogen permeability by 800% and improves selectivity by 30%, produced via a mechanochemical process that cuts synthesis time from three days to three hours, enabling faster, cleaner, and potentially cheaper industrial hydrogen purification.
