Halloween Weekend Brings Major I-5 and I-405 Closures in Puget Sound
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has scheduled full highway closures for northbound Interstate 5 in Seattle and southbound Interstate 405 in Bothell from Friday, Oct. 30, through Monday, Nov. 2. These shutdowns are necessary to remove construction zones from the Revive I-5 project and to dismantle a pedestrian bridge for the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project. Travelers should expect significant delays and are advised to use transit or alternate routes.
