Strong winds caused power outages for thousands of Ohioans, with about 30,000 outages still reported by FirstEnergy. The Illuminating Co. is working around the clock to restore power, and some may not see power until Wednesday. Counties with the most outages include Ashtabula, Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Mahoning, Portage, Stark, Trumbull, and Wayne. Downed power lines should be reported to 911. Several NE Ohio schools have canceled classes for Monday.
