Air Force Suspends Commanders in Unit of Accused Intelligence Leaker Jack Teixeira
Two commanders from the National Guard unit where accused intelligence leaker Jack Teixeira served have been suspended by the US Air Force. Teixeira was arrested on April 13 and charged with violating the Espionage Act for allegedly leaking classified documents to a group of gamers on the messaging app Discord. The case has been called the most serious US security breach since the WikiLeaks scandal in 2010. Teixeira may face more charges as additional evidence is presented to a grand jury.
