Sony to Distribute Greta Gerwig’s Narnia Internationally, Netflix Guides Domestic Release
Sony Pictures Entertainment will handle international distribution for Greta Gerwig’s Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew, while Netflix handles domestic release. The film opens February 12, 2027 worldwide in IMAX/theaters and debuts on Netflix April 2, 2027, with exclusive IMAX sneak previews starting February 10, 2027. The origin-story adaptation, produced by Mark Gordon, Amy Pascal, Vincent Sieber-Smith and Gerwig, features a star-studded cast including Emma Mackey, Carey Mulligan, Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, Daniel Craig and Meryl Streep.
