International rescue dogs from more than 20 countries—including Tsunami from Mexico and Bart from Argentina—spent days scouring rubble after Venezuela’s twin June earthquakes; 137 search-and-rescue dogs took part, locating survivors and recovering victims (Tsunami credited with saving 25 people, Bart helped rescue two children and recover six bodies), as the death toll neared 3,000.
