The number of people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles has increased by 10% in the past year, according to the results of the most recent point-in-time count. The count revealed that there were 75,518 homeless individuals in the county and 46,260 in the city of Los Angeles. Despite significant investments in housing and intervention programs, the homeless population continues to rise, with a 35% increase over the past four years.
