Trump Reinstates In-Person Midterm Rallies in Kansas and Iowa After Brief Cancellation
President Donald Trump reversed his decision to cancel in-person campaign rallies in Kansas and Iowa, opting to hold both events on Sunday instead of virtual tele-rallies. The change follows pressure from local Republican officials and concerns over tight Senate races in traditionally red states. While Trump initially cited efficiency and fatigue, he later stated that calls from state leaders convinced him that physical appearances were necessary to secure victories. This shift occurs amid a broader midterm campaign where Democrats are favored in national polls, and Republicans face challenges from high fuel prices and the ongoing war with Iran.
