Russia's Nuclear Moves Rattle NATO and Belarus
Belarusian troops have started training on the Iskander-M missile system, a nuclear-capable Russian missile system, after President Putin's decision to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. The move has drawn criticism from the West and sparked fears of potential nuclear conflict. The Belarusian Defence Ministry said that the crew of these units will undergo a full training cycle at one of the Russian armed forces' training grounds. Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said that he was ready to host "strategic" Russian nuclear weapons "if need be."
