European Parliament Passes Historic Resolution to Counter Islamist Entryism
The European Parliament voted 381 to 0 to condemn 'Islamist entryism' and the Muslim Brotherhood, marking a significant shift in EU policy. The resolution, sponsored by French MEP Céline Imart, calls for stricter scrutiny of EU funding and potential terrorist designations. While center-right parties supported the move, left-wing groups boycotted, and critics like ENAR condemned it as Islamophobic. Experts note the resolution is non-binding but signals a new political consensus against perceived subversion.
