Bottle controversy ends with Kartal staying on after Roma clash
In a 1-1 Champions League draw with Roma, Fenerbahce coach Ismail Kartal briefly quit after a spectator threw a water bottle at his head, but club president Aziz Yildirim said he would remain in charge and the bottle-thrower was identified and banned.
