Italian forces rescue Turkish ship from armed stowaways near Naples.
Italian special forces have regained control of a Turkish cargo ship that was attacked by armed stowaways off the southern city of Naples. The aggressors appeared to be migrants who had boarded the ship in Turkey, hoping to reach Europe. The marines dropped onto the vessel from helicopters after the stowaways used knives to threaten the crew. Some of the stowaways were arrested, but others barricaded themselves in the hold. The ship was escorted towards Naples, and the crew is safe.
