Jackson Koivun won the 3M Open in Minnesota by three strokes, posting a tournament-record 25-under 259 in just his third start as a pro and remaining bogey-free for the final two rounds, after Scheffler, the world No. 1, shot a 63 to close the gap. Matsuyama, Harman, Chandler Phillips and Denny McCarthy finished tied for third at 20-under. Koivun earned $1,584,000, jumped 124 spots to 70th in the FedEx Cup, and became the fourth rookie winner this season.
