Broncos finalize 17-man practice squad with veterans and rookies after Joly cut
Denver completed a 17-man practice squad mix of veterans and rookies, re-signing Adam Prentice, Mitch Fraboni, Lucas Krull and Calvin Throckmorton and adding several rookies (Kolbe Katsis, Michael Bandy, Dane Key) while also bringing back Miles Scott and Red Murdock after waiving fifth-round TE Justin Joly and RB Jaleel McLaughlin. McLaughlin is weighing options elsewhere as Tyler Badie made the 53-man roster. Coach Sean Payton emphasized that the practice squad functions as an extension of the roster and highlighted the importance of special teams in the decisions.
