Sinner Extends Masters Streak, Advances to Miami Open Semis
Jannik Sinner beat Frances Tiafoe 6-2, 6-2 to reach the Miami Open semi-finals, extending his Masters 1000 consecutive-set streak to 30 and breaking Djokovic's 24-set record while dropping only nine points on serve. He will face the winner of Zverev vs Cerundolo in the last four, with the other semi pitting Arthur Fils against Jiri Lehecka. Sinner is chasing the Sunshine Double after winning Indian Wells and Miami in the same year, a feat Federer last achieved in 2017; he has reached four Miami semifinals in five appearances and won the tournament in 2024.
