Jared Leto was reportedly taken out of Barry Levinson’s political thriller Assassination after mounting sexual misconduct allegations surfaced, with insiders saying production decided not to proceed despite ongoing talks. Some sources also cited the underwhelming performance of Tron: Ares as a possible factor. The film, which stars Bryan Cranston and Brendan Fraser and centers on Dorothy Kilgallen’s JFK assassination investigation, has no announced replacement or release date.
