Adirondack tragedy claims three generations of a New Jersey family
Three generations of a New Jersey family—Dr. Gabriele Jasper, 70, his daughter Gabriella Hillgrube, 33, and granddaughter Guiliana Hillgrube, 2—died when their small twin-engine Piper Aerostar crashed into woods near Saranac Lake, NY, after contact was lost at about 100 feet altitude; Jasper, founder of the Jasper Spine Institute, piloted the aircraft, and the NTSB is investigating.
