Packers lock in Jayden Reed on 3-year, $50.25M extension ahead of Day 2
The Green Bay Packers signed slot receiver Jayden Reed to a three-year, $50.25 million contract with $20 million guaranteed, positioning him as the team's primary inside target after letting Romeo Doubs depart and trading Dontayvion Wicks. With an average of about $16.75 million per year, Reed sits in the mid‑WR2 to high‑WR3 range and will flank Christian Watson and 2025 first‑rounder Matthew Golden on the outside, with backups in Savion Williams and Skyy Moore. Reed has 138 receptions for 1,857 yards and 15 touchdowns (plus 34 rushes for 310 yards and 3 rushing TDs) since being drafted in 2023, though injuries limited him to seven games in 2025.
