Judge suspends charges against ex-Marine arrested with weapons at Trump’s L.A. golf course
A California judge suspended criminal charges against Jeanine John Taele, a 38-year-old former Marine, after determining he is unfit to stand trial. Taele was arrested in August 2026 at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes, where investigators found a loaded 9mm pistol, ammunition, and a fake security badge in his vehicle. He is now undergoing a psychiatric evaluation in Hollywood, with a hearing scheduled for September 9.
