Gaming Icon 'Void Only' Dies at 25, Days Before GTA VI Launch
Jerry Fort, a 25-year-old content creator known online as 'Void Only,' died on October 29, 2026, following complications from a lung transplant. Fort had gone viral in August after posting a video from his hospital bed expressing his desire to live long enough to play Grand Theft Auto VI. His family raised over $100,000 via GoFundMe to cover medical costs. Although he initially recovered after surgery, he succumbed to a severe infection in late October, just three weeks before the game’s scheduled release on November 19.
