Fatal Hit-and-Run Sparks Police Pursuit in Jessup
In Jessup, Maryland, a 2018 Infiniti struck a parked Howard County Police cruiser around 2:17 a.m., the driver fled prompting a pursuit that ended about a mile away when the Infiniti crashed into a retaining wall. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and two other occupants were hospitalized in stable condition. It’s unclear which occupant was driving; the Maryland Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division is handling the investigation.
