SNL Vet John Higgins Lands Major Recurring Role in Scrubs Revival Season 2
SNL alum and Please Don’t Destroy member John Higgins has joined ABC’s Scrubs revival for Season 2 in a major recurring role as Grant, the new Chief Resident who will challenge J.D.; Keyla Monterroso Mejia is promoted to series regular as Mimi and Ava Bunn is bumped to regular as Tosh, while X Mayo and Joel Kim Booster are not returning. Scott Foley is back as Sean Kelly. Scrubs Season 2 premieres Sept. 30 on ABC and streams the next day on Hulu. Higgins also has upcoming projects including a Netflix film and an Apple TV+ series.
