British Actor John Nolan Dies at 87, Linked to Batman and Person of Interest
British stage-and-screen veteran John Nolan, known for his roles in Christopher Nolan’s Batman films (including a Wayne Enterprises board member) and as John Greer on CBS’s Person of Interest, died at 87. A Drama Centre London graduate and Royal Shakespeare Company veteran, his career spanned theatre, television (Doomwatch, The Prisoner, Silent Witness) and film (Following, Dunkirk, The Dark Knight Rises). He was uncle to directors Christopher and Jonathan Nolan and is survived by his wife Kim Hartman and their family.
