Madison to brief public on fatal officer-involved shooting
Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and Police Chief John Patterson will brief the public on a deadly officer-involved shooting on the near-east side after a Madison police officer shot and killed a man in his 30s who was armed with a knife and injured one officer during the detainment. The man had been seen checking vehicles in the Marquette neighborhood; Williamson Street remained closed near the scene.
