Brazilian suspect in 16 murders arrested after 30-hour manhunt while disguised as woman
Brazilian police arrested 33-year-old Jorlan Lopes da Silva in Paraíba after a 30-hour manhunt. Found disguised in women’s clothing and carrying a child, he is linked to 16 confirmed homicides since May. While he confessed to 80 murders, authorities have verified only 16. Police seized weapons and ammunition, and two accomplices were also detained.
