Bonnie Tyler in ICU after cardiac arrest; doctors optimistic about recovery
Bonnie Tyler, 74, was resuscitated after a cardiac arrest and is in intensive care in a Faro, Algarve, Portugal hospital, where doctors are treating an infection with high-dose antibiotics. She had previously undergone emergency appendicitis surgery and was placed in an induced coma to aid recovery. A friend said the medical team is positive about her progress as she prepares for a Jubilee tour that would take her across Europe, starting May 22 in Malta.
