Brooklyn Democrats rubber-stamp illegal rules in chaotic, delayed meeting
The Brooklyn Democratic County Committee passed controversial rule changes on Wednesday despite a lower court ruling declaring them illegal. The eight-hour meeting at City Tech was marked by severe delays, technical glitches, and chaotic voting procedures. Establishment allies of Chair Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn secured the votes, though the outcome may be overturned by a pending appellate court decision.
