Voxel Debuts Meridion VX01-E with a 12/24-Hour Jumping Display

Voxel unveiled the Meridion VX01-E at Geneva Watch Days 2026, a Swiss-made watch with a mechanical 12/24-hour jumping display that switches formats twice daily to remove AM/PM ambiguity. The decagonal 904L steel case (41.4 mm diameter, 45.5 mm lug-to-lug, 12.2 mm thick) features a titanium case back and double-sapphire display around a Soprod Newton P092 automatic movement, backed by Voxel’s Reactor module; it offers a 44-hour power reserve and 120 m water resistance. Dials are available in Charcoal Grey, Electric Blue, and Silver Star, with day-night crescent indicators, and it ships with an Alcantara strap or 904L steel bracelet in limited editions. Pre-orders begin October 1, 2026, with deliveries in Q1 2027, priced from €2,500 (strap) to €2,850 (bracelet).

MAD.3 Vincent Calabrese: a modern Baladin wandering-jumping hour for the M.A.D. universe

MB&F's M.A.D.Editions unveils the MAD.3 Vincent Calabrese, a modern reinterpretation of Calabrese's Baladin wandering-jumping hour, reworking the mechanism onto an MB&F-tuned La Joux-Perret G111 base in a 40mm steel case designed by Eric Giroud. Two colorways—blue via raffle and pink for The Tribe and Friends—are offered at CHF 2,900 excluding taxes. The watch features a circular jumping-hour display with a central seconds hand, luminous accents, and a more reliable, energy-efficient movement, preserving the spirit of Calabrese’s invention while making it more accessible within the M.A.D. Editions lineup. Calabrese, a pivotal independent watchmaker and AHCI cofounder, influenced generations with wandering hours and unconventional mechanisms.
