Suspect in Houma Quadruple Homicade Arrested After Child Survives Stabbing Spree
Kaegan Jude Solet, 47, was arrested Sunday in connection with a stabbing spree in Houma, Louisiana, that left four adults dead and a child critically injured. Authorities described the incident as the first quadruple homicide in the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office’s history. Solet had a prior 2019 stabbing arrest but was not convicted. The child, under 10, remains in critical but stable condition. Investigators stated the violence was not random and linked Solet to the victims, though no motive has been disclosed. Solet faces potential charges for four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
