Kamiyama Launches a New Gundam Timeline With RG XARX-ZERO
Bandai Namco and Sunrise reveal Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO, a brand-new Gundam series directed by Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex creator Kenji Kamiyama, set in an entirely new timeline outside the Universal Century. The story follows Ray Azumi in a post-Apocalypse solar-system era, with a tied-in single-player RPG called Gundam Rogue Orbit, and the project is slated to premiere in 2027 as a media-mix venture within Sunrise and Bandai Namco’s Gundam universe.
