Transgender student's induction into sorority sparks lawsuit
Seven female members of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Wyoming are suing the university and a transgender member, Artemis Langford, for making them feel uncomfortable. The lawsuit alleges that Langford, who identifies as a woman, breached sorority rules and behaved inappropriately around her sorority sisters. The plaintiffs are asking a judge to void Langford's membership and award unspecified damages. The Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority denies the allegations and says it does not discriminate against gender identity.
