Kate Courtney, the former world XCO champion, stunned the road peloton to win the 2026 U.S. Cycling National Championships in Charleston, WV, sprinting past Lauren Stephens with Grace Arlandson third; in the men’s race, Lidl-Trek’s Quinn Simmons rode away on the final climb to claim a third national road title in four years, ahead of Kevin Vermaerke and Larry Warbasse.
