Kehlani announced a 33-date North American tour to promote her self-titled album, with Durand Bernarr, Isaia Huron, TheARTI$t and WASEEL on select dates. Victoria Monét addressed bisexuality in her music, specifically referencing her ex Kehlani in the song "Touch Me" from her 2020 project Jaguar. The lyrics allude to sensuality and foreplay, with Victoria explaining that the mention of short nails is about being able to use fingers effectively without causing harm. Kehlani also responded to this in the remix, singing "I stopped rockin' nails for you."
