The Miami Dolphins have reduced their roster by releasing 14 players, including veteran receiver Keke Coutee, offensive tackle Geron Christian, and linebacker A.J. Johnson. The team still needs to make more cuts to meet the league's 53-player limit by Tuesday.
The Miami Dolphins have signed cornerback Jamal Perry, who previously played 31 games for the team between 2019 and 2021, while also adding wide receiver Keke Coutee to their roster. In corresponding moves, cornerback Mark Gilbert and wide receiver Freddie Swain were waived with injury designations. Perry, formerly known as Jomal Wiltz, had 86 tackles and an interception during his previous stint with the Dolphins, and has also had brief stints with the Eagles and Patriots. Coutee was recently released by the Saints.
The New Orleans Saints have announced roster moves, signing Lynn Bowden Jr. and Keke Coutee, while also adding former first-round pick Billy Price. Bowden, a three-year NFL veteran, has played for the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, while Coutee, a four-year NFL veteran, has played for the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts. Price, a five-year NFL veteran, has played for the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, and Arizona Cardinals.
