Dumoulin Cleared, Kempe Centers Up as Kings Test New Lines at Camp Day 2
Day 2 of Kings camp had Dumoulin cleared to rejoin practice after pre-camp testing, while Mats Zuccarello was off the ice. Adrian Kempe skated at center for the first time in a while as Laviolette tests new line ideas, with Dumoulin reinserted on a top-four pairing with Ceci and Gustafsson a potential future addition. Panarin, who signed a two-year deal, discussed coaching him to balance creativity with structure, and he and Clarke worked on deflections on the power play after practice. The Kings next play the Vegas Golden Knights in Ontario, CA, with a younger roster expected to get looks.
