
Body of US Army lieutenant recovered off Morocco after training accident
The body of 1st Lt Kendrick Lamont Key Jr., a US Army platoon leader, was recovered from the water off Cap Draa, Morocco, after he went missing during a May 2 training exercise. A second soldier remains missing and search operations continue as part of African Lion, the U.S. Africa Command’s largest joint exercise involving US forces, NATO allies, and partner nations.
