Ukraine Strikes Russian Warships in Black Sea Conflict
Ukraine used a Neptune missile to attack the Konstantin Olshansky, a warship that Russia stole from Ukraine a decade ago during the annexation of Crimea. The missile strike was part of a larger attack on Russia's Black Sea Fleet, which also targeted other vessels and infrastructure facilities. Ukraine's asymmetric warfare tactics, including the use of long-range cruise missiles and locally produced naval drones, have been effective in weakening the Black Sea Fleet and forcing some of Russia's warships to relocate away from vulnerable Crimea.
