Phantom Blade Zero Hits 700k Players, Ranks 15th on Steam
S-Game Studio's debut AAA title, Phantom Blade Zero, achieved a massive launch on Steam, peaking at over 700,000 concurrent players within 24 hours. This performance ranks it as the 15th most-played game at launch on the platform, placing it near records set by Baldur's Gate 3 and Elden Ring. The game, a kungfupunk action-RPG, is available on PC and PS5, with early reviews praising its combat but noting technical issues. A day-one patch was released to address performance on lower-end hardware, while analysts debate whether it will reach the cultural ubiquity of Black Myth: Wukong.
