IOC Adopts SRY-Based Rule to Define Female Olympic Competition for LA28

The policy, non-retroactive, applies from the LA28 Games onward and does not affect grassroots programs. It was developed through expert review and athlete input to promote fairness, safety, and integrity, with education and privacy protections for athletes.

Several clients have cut ties in the wake of the revelations, and Wasserman apologized, stressing he had no personal or business relationship with Epstein. The LA28 committee said its review found his relationship with Epstein did not extend beyond what is publicly documented.
