Salad recall canceled in New Hampshire and Maine due to lab error.

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services is canceling a recall for salad packages that was announced last week due to a lab error that incorrectly identified potential contamination of E. coli in some lēf Farms “Spice” Packaged Salad Greens. Division of Publican Health Services Director Tricia Tilley said that lēf Farms products are safe for consumers and apologized for the mistake. The product lēf Farms “Spice” is returning to shelves in Hannaford and Market Basket in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
