iOS 27 Refreshes Health App with AI Guidance, Longevity Metrics, and At-Home Tests
Apple announced a major Health app redesign for iPhone and iPad in iOS 27, powered by Apple Intelligence that turns data from the Apple Watch into personalized guidance. The update adds Insights, Personal Guidance, Readiness scores, and a new Longevity tab with metrics like HRV, VO2 max, sleep, and Health Age. It also supports Lab Results (including a Quest blood panel) and at-home health assessments, plus menopause support in Cycle Tracking. New readings require newer Apple Watch hardware (Series 12 or Ultra 4, with more frequent HR and HRV data). The Health app update is slated to ship in late 2026 for compatible devices.
