Kenneth Williams, a 67-year-old armed security guard, was fatally shot by police in Gary, Indiana, on Friday night. Nine officers from the Gary Police Department and Lake County Sheriff’s Office discharged their weapons during a confrontation near the Metro Center. All nine officers have been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation by the Indiana State Police.
