A Finnish ski resort at Levi in Lapland is launching a summer-long treasure hunt, the Midnight Sun Hunt, offering a gold bar worth about €20,000 (~$23k). Clues begin June 18 at the Levi Visitor Centre and will be released through the season, with a final clue on August 22. Lauri Untamo, the tourist, successfully carried out the trick in Finnish Lapland on New Year's Day when the temperature was minus 30 degrees Celsius (-22°F). The region has been experiencing the coldest weather in 25 years, but visitors like Untamo have still enjoyed outdoor activities and the Northern Lights.
