Ethics findings link campaign money to Las Vegas trip amid harassment allegations
The House Committee on Ethics found substantial evidence that U.S. Rep. Chuck Edwards sexually harassed two young female staffers and created a hostile work environment, and campaign-finance records show he used donors’ funds for a Las Vegas trip with one former staffer, while he missed votes and canceled a tele-town hall during a government shutdown before dropping his reelection bid.
