Body recovered after two-day search for man missing near Lake Minear in Libertyville
A 30-year-old Evanston man who went missing Thursday near Lake Minear Beach in Libertyville was found dead along the Des Plaines River shoreline Friday after two days of extensive searches by multiple agencies, including Lake County Forest Preserves police, the sheriff’s office, and Mundelein and other police departments. Authorities thanked responders; no cause of death was provided in the report.
