Surrey’s 117-year-old Ethel marks milestone as world’s oldest person
117-year-old Ethel Caterham of Hallmark Lakeview Care Home in Lightwater, Surrey, celebrated becoming the world’s oldest living person after the previous record-holder’s death; born in 1909, she has survived the Titanic era, two world wars, Covid-19, and has even been visited by King Charles.
