China's Complex Relationship with Ukraine and Russia
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda has criticized China's role in Russia's war in Ukraine, stating that it is "more destructive than constructive". He believes that China wants to continue the war and is supporting Russia in a hidden or open form. Nausėda also expressed doubts about China's ability to act as a mediator between the two countries and called for China to be neutral. This comes as China released a 12-point peace plan for Ukraine, which Moscow has welcomed.
